Straši Fest Trnava 2026: A Spooky Family Festival at the City Amphitheatre

Trnava’s city amphitheatre will fill with spooky characters, fantasy creatures and themed attractions on Saturday, 17 October 2026. The second edition of Straši Fest is a family-friendly autumn festival featuring creative workshops, competitions, a lantern parade and activities for younger children. The event runs from 10 am to 9 pm, with admission costing €4.

Straši Fest brings a playful Halloween atmosphere to Trnava, with activities designed mainly for families with children. Visitors can take part in games, meet fairy-tale and fantasy characters or come dressed in costume. A costume competition is also planned.

What’s on at Straši Fest 2026?

Highlights include themed “Don’t Be Afraid” corners that will light up with fluorescent UV effects after dark. Children can try a spider-themed race, join spooky craft workshops, search for sweets in the woods with a witch and pose for photos with fantasy characters.

The programme also includes a monster dance inspired by the TV series Wednesday, face painting, themed hairstyles and a mime performance. A miniature train and carousel are planned for children aged six and under.

Visitors can also join a lantern parade through the town accompanied by lantern bearers. Food stalls and stalls selling handmade goods will be set up at the amphitheatre, alongside presentations by non-profit and community organisations.
